Jeannie Orel OTR/L is the owner, director of BrainAzium. She graduated from Cleveland State University in 1997 with her Bachelors of Science and Occupational Therapy degree.
She lived and raised her family in an eastern suburb of Cleveland Ohio where she began working in various settings including retirement homes, mental healthcare, traumatic brain injury centers and hospitals.
She centered her training and work settings early on in pediatrics where she worked in various school settings and art centers working with preschool through high school aged children but continued her work in acute and rehab hospital work.
She moved here to the Austin area In August of 2011 and opened the doors of BrainAzium in 2014 after completing some intensive training in Neurological rehabilitation.
Her occupational therapy special interests have included sensory integration, animal assisted therapy and interventions with certifications for her and Pepper completed in June 2019.
